Preparing for Primary School
At Early Learners Hub, our Preschool Program supports children to build the skills, confidence, and independence they need as they approach school age. School readiness is a holistic journey — one that nurtures the whole child and supports their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Preschoolers engage in meaningful, play-based experiences that build early literacy and numeracy foundations, strengthen fine and gross motor skills, and support communication and language growth. Guided by warm relationships, our educators follow children’s natural curiosity and interests to create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning opportunities that inspire confidence and a strong sense of belonging.
Government funded preschool hours through Start Strong
As an approved provider under the NSW Government Start Strong Program, our Preschool Program offers eligible families access to government-funded preschool hours. This helps reduce out-of-pocket costs while ensuring children experience a high-quality early learning program that supports their confidence, curiosity, and readiness for school. Our team is here to guide you through eligibility and help you make the most of your Start Strong entitlements.
Children participate in:
Name recognition, letter sounds, and early writing
Counting, sorting, and exploring basic numeracy concepts
Strengthening fine motor skills with cutting, gluing, and pencil grip practice
Group experiences that develop turn-taking, sharing, and problem-solving
Communication and language enrichment through storytelling, discussions, and songs

Each day offers opportunities for children to explore, grow, and build independence within the Hub.
