At Early Learners Hub, our Preschool Program supports children to build the skills, confidence, and independence they need to thrive as they approach school age. School readiness goes beyond just learning letters and numbers. It's about nurturing the whole child—supporting their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development to build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
Our preschoolers engage in carefully planned activities that promote early literacy, numeracy, fine and gross motor skills, communication, and language development. Our educators incorporate children’s natural interests and curiosity into daily learning, ensuring experiences are engaging, meaningful, and developmentally appropriate.
Government funded preschool hours through Start Strong
As an approved provider under the NSW Government Start Strong Program, our Preschool Program offers eligible families access to government-funded preschool hours. This helps reduce out-of-pocket costs while ensuring your child receives a high-quality early learning experience in preparation for school. Our team can guide you through your eligibility and help you maximise your Start Strong entitlements.
Children participate in:
Name recognition, letter sounds, and early writing
Counting, sorting, and exploring basic numeracy concepts
Strengthening fine motor skills with cutting, gluing, and pencil grip practice
Group experiences that develop turn-taking, sharing, and problem-solving
Communication and language enrichment through storytelling, discussions, and songs

Our Preschool Program is available at both our Albion Park and Blackbutt Centres, located in the Illawarra region. Our experienced teams are committed to creating a warm, supportive environment where every child feels safe, valued, and ready to learn.
