At Early Learners Hub, our Toddler Program is designed to nurture each child’s natural curiosity, growing confidence, and emerging independence. Guided by warm, trusting relationships, our educators create environments where toddlers feel safe, included, and ready to explore.
The toddler years are full of discovery, and we honour this stage with meaningful, play-based experiences that encourage children to try new things, make choices, and build a strong sense of belonging. Through connection, care, and responsive guidance, toddlers develop the foundations for confident, capable learning — now and as they grow within the Hub.

Hands-on learning for confident toddlers
Our Toddler Program builds growing independence through meaningful, hands-on experiences. Guided by warm relationships and responsive support, toddlers are encouraged to develop self-help skills, confidence, and a strong sense of capability. Each day, children practise:
Toileting and handwashing
Dressing themselves and applying sunscreen
Self-serving meals and snacks
Tidying up and caring for their environment
Using manners and developing social skills
These everyday moments nurture confidence, belonging, and pride, supporting toddlers as they learn to do things for themselves and grow as curious, capable learners within the Hub.

OUR PROGRAM
Learning through play and exploration.
Our Toddler Program embraces the idea that children learn best through curiosity, movement, and meaningful play. Toddlers enjoy a rich blend of sensory experiences, music and movement, imaginative play, early literacy and numeracy moments, and plenty of outdoor exploration. Guided by warm relationships, educators observe each child’s interests and plan engaging experiences that spark learning, build fine and gross motor skills, and support emerging language.
Through these playful, connected experiences, toddlers grow as confident and capable learners within the Hub.
Flexible routines that support development.
At the Hub, routines are designed to offer toddlers a sense of security while still allowing room for curiosity and individual needs. Our educators follow consistent rhythms that help children feel safe and grounded, while remaining flexible so learning can unfold through each child’s interests and cues. This balance of stability and responsiveness ensures every toddler feels supported, included, and ready to learn with confidence.
